Privacy Policy

What We Collect

Warboys collects the minimum data necessary to operate the game:

• Passkey credential IDs — a public identifier created during sign-in. No passwords or biometric data are stored on our servers.
• Game scores — level ID, completion time, kill count, casualty count, and ammo used.
• A display name — chosen by you at registration, used on the leaderboard.

We do not collect your IP address beyond what AWS infrastructure logs in transit. We do not use cookies. Session tokens are stored in sessionStorage only and are discarded when you close the tab.

How We Store It

Data is stored in AWS DynamoDB hosted in the EU (Ireland, eu-west-1). Access is restricted to the game's backend Lambda functions via IAM roles. No third parties have access to your data.

How We Use It

• Scores are displayed on public leaderboards.
• Credential IDs are used solely to authenticate you when submitting scores.
• We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising or analytics.

Retention

Scores are retained indefinitely unless you request deletion. Passkey credentials are retained until you request account deletion.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of all data associated with your account by contacting us. We will action deletion requests within 30 days.

Changes

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the game after changes constitutes acceptance.
